The important fish business.
How the rounds work, what your ticket includes, and what to know before registering.
Is this a sanctioned tournament?
No. The Fish Toss remains proudly unsanctioned.
What is a scramble?
Everyone on the team throws. The team chooses the best throw, everyone throws again from that spot, and the process continues until the hole is finished.
What does every ticket include?
Both ticket choices include the 18-hole morning scramble, lunch, and a custom Stumptown Fish Toss disc. See the 2026 discs

Do I need to be an experienced player?
No. The morning scramble is built for fun and shared play. Skill ratings are used to balance teams instead of stacking all the experienced players together.
beginners welcome
Can I play only the solo round?
No. The ticket choices are Scramble Only and Scramble + Solo. There is no solo-only ticket.
Can I transfer a ticket to someone else?
No. Tickets are not transferable. Contact the tournament director if a registration needs attention.

Can I register several people at once?
Yes. You can buy up to four tickets and fill in the details for each player.
Can I request a scramble teammate?
Yes. When you register, you can name one person you'd like to be paired with, like a spouse or a family member. What we can't do is honor requests for specific strong players, so no, you can't all ask for Ben.
